Equality, diversity & inclusion statement

Real Code Ltd, trading as NetEvolution · Approved 30 September 2026 · Next review September 2027.

Our commitment

Real Code Ltd, trading as NetEvolution, is committed to equality, diversity and inclusion in how we engage people, how we deliver work and how we build the systems clients' staff and students will use. We operate under the Equality Act 2010 and support the aims of the public sector equality duty our university clients work under.

As a small consultancy we keep this statement honest: no invented workforce statistics, no stock imagery of diversity. What follows is what we actually do.

People & engagement

Engagement, pay and progression never depend on age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation. When we bring in specialist subcontractors, selection is on capability, availability and rate — nothing else.

Remote-first working is our default, which removes commuting barriers and supports team members with caring responsibilities, disabilities or health conditions that make office work difficult.

Inclusive delivery

The systems we build are for everyone who uses them. Interfaces we deliver are built to WCAG 2.2 AA expectations, agentic workflows include human-override paths so no user is locked out by an automated decision, and documentation is written in plain English rather than jargon.

Where a client's processes touch students or staff with protected characteristics — admissions, extensions, support services — we consider differential impact in the design review, not as an afterthought.

Raising a concern

Bullying, harassment, victimisation and discrimination are not tolerated in any engagement. A concern involving anyone working for or with Real Code Ltd can be raised confidentially and directly with the director, and is investigated promptly.
